Everyone is welcome to worship with us at Christ Church-St. Jude’s in Ivy and at St. George’s in Utopia.
If you would like an orientation to the service before Sunday, you may contact our Priest, Reverend Susan

Where do you worship?

We have 2 locations to serve our parishioner's.

Christ Church-St. Jude’s is located at 7330 – 9th Line just south of the Village of Ivy. Ample parking is available on the south side of the church. A reserved handicapped spot is located next to the wheelchair-accessible walkway leading to the main entrance on the east side of the church.

St. George’s is located at 6340 6th Line in Utopia. Ample parking is available on the north side of the church. There is a wheelchair-accessible walkway leading to the main entrance of the church.
When are the services and how long are they?

St. George’s has a worship service every Sunday at 9:00 a.m.

Christ Church-St. Jude’s has a worship service every Sunday at 11:00 a.m.

These services of Holy Communion last about 60 minutes.

There are times when our two churches worship together: for instance, when one of our Bishops comes, and on Christmas Day. The location of these services is posted beforehand on the website.
What happens when I come in?

A greeter will welcome you and you may be given a bulletin that outlines the service and announces upcoming events.

You will find the prayer and hymn books in your pew. Please feel free to ask the greeter any questions you may have.

At Christ Church-St. Jude’s the service is displayed on large screens.

You may sit anywhere you like. If it’s not occupied, it’s your seat!

Do my children stay with me?

At this point in time there is no Sunday School Services offered at either church.
What do I wear?

Wear what you are comfortable in to worship God.
Do I need to bring anything?

No. We do take a collection during our Offertory Hymn to support our ministry and outreach to others. You are under no obligation to contribute, although we are grateful if you choose to do so.

May I receive Holy Communion?

All baptized Christians are invited to receive both the bread and the wine at Holy Communion. Gluten-free wafers are available upon request. You may also come forward to receive a blessing from Reverend Susan; if so, please indicate your intention by crossing your arms if you do not wish to take the wine.
What happens after the service?

After the 9:00 a.m. service at St. George’s, Utopia, some parishioners go for brunch in Angus; on the first Sunday of the month, we enjoy a light meal downstairs.

On the second Sunday of the month after our 11:00 a.m. service at Christ Church-St. Jude’s, Ivy, we go downstairs for refreshments. Usually the fourth Sunday of the month from October to April, we enjoy a light soup lunch together.
